The NHL Stadium Series is coming to Columbus as Ohio Stadium hosts its first-ever outdoor hockey game when the Columbus Blue Jackets take on the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, March 1, 2025. In recent years, Cleveland (three times) and Toledo (five times) have hosted outdoor games, but this is the first NHL game and the first one in the state capital.
