More Than a Game

Sports events mean more in Columbus because Columbus goes all out to support the events that choose our city. From the participants and fans to the organizations that run it, we want to make their experience unforgettable. Learn more about the experience and impact of some notable events we've hosted.

Since 2002, Columbus has hosted more than 1,100 events that have generated more than $1.5 billion in direct visitor spending. That includes more than 600 new events, responsible for more than $695 million in direct visitor spending.

Here are a few of the notable events hosted since the Sports Commission was started in 2002.
