SPIELMAN GRIDIRON CLASSIC, BUFFALO WILD WINGS TEAM UP TO FIGHT CANCER

Buffalo Wild Wings and the Spielman Gridiron Classic II have teamed up to fight cancer. From Aug. 23-30, BWW will donate 10 percent of every food check it receives to the Gridiron Classic II and The Stefanie Spielman Fund. To activate the donation, diners must present the coupon to the cashier when paying their bill. Also, for every patron who donates $1 to the cause at the cash register, BWW will donate that dollar to the Gridiron Classic II as well. The two games will showcase high-profile high school football teams, as well as increase community awareness for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and breast cancer research. Hilliard Darby and Dublin Jerome will face off on Friday, Sept. 4th at Hilliard Darby and Reynoldsburg will host state-power Cleveland Glenville on Saturday, Sept. 5. Both games will include short speeches from Chris Spielman at halftime and a trophy presentation to the winner and runner-up at the end of the game. More than 8,000 fans attended the first Spielman Gridiron Classic in September 2009 when Gahanna hosted Cleveland Glenville. "I am so excited to be a part of this, Last year was a huge success and we hope to make this year's Classic even bigger by having games on two sides of the city." said Chris Spielman. The net proceeds from the Spielman Gridiron Classic will benefit the Central Ohio Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. Advance tickets to the Spielman Gridiron Classic II football games are available through the athletic departments at Reynoldsburg and Hilliard Darby high schools.
