The Greater Columbus Sports Commission is proud to welcome The Memorial Tournament and NetJets to its team of corporate partners, Executive Director Linda Logan announced today. The Memorial Touranment’s and NetJets’ annual contributions to the Sports Commission will allow the organization to continue to pursue events such as the McDonald’s All-American Basketball Games, the Big Ten Conference Baseball Tournament and the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, just a few of the events that has recently hosted or will host in the near future. “We are excited to welcome The Memorial Tournament and NetJets to our team of corporate partners,” Logan said. “Broad private support will always be a key our success and our new partners should be commended for investing in our community’s future through our development as a sports destination.” Other GCSC corporate partners include Nationwide Realty Investments, Experience Columbus, The Dispatch Printing Co.; JMAC/Columbus Blue Jackets; Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority; The Ohio State University; American Electric Power; Worthington Industries; Ricart Automotive; Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, LLP; Pizzuti; Glimcher; the Columbus Clippers; Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course; American Dairy Association Mideast; Marathon; Continental Office Environments; Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP; and Artina Promotional Products. The Greater Columbus Sports Commission was founded in June 2002 to attract professional, amateur, collegiate and youth sporting events to Columbus.
