In a ranking of the best half-marathons in the U.S., the OhioHealth Cap City Half Marathon finished on the podium.

USA TODAY 10Best editors and a panel of expert runners compiled a list of their top half-marathons, then readers voted for their favorites to determine the winners. Columbus’ annual race ranked 2nd among the fastest-growing race distance in the U.S. See the full list.

The 2024 OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon and Columbus Promise 5K returns Saturday, April 27.

The "Best Tour Of Columbus On Two Feet" will again feature a distance for everybody: OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon (13.1 miles), OhioHealth Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles) and the Columbus Promise 5K (3.1 miles).

All races begin and end on S. High Street adjacent to the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons in downtown Columbus.
